Approach
Children in need of care and protection who have been deprived of parental care are provided with a family environment and long-term care and support.
Children are provided with quality care and an environment that exposes them to adequate opportunities for holistic development and a happy childhood. Separate residential facilities are provided for boys and girls. Currently, with 18 children (7 boys and 11 girls) there are 13 staff to look after them
The infrastructure includes a child-friendly atmosphere with excellent residential facilities, spacious play area, a large playground, a synthetic tennis court and indoor play articles. Children are provided with nutritious and hygienic food.
Children go to are being educated at two reputed English medium schools – one being an ICSE school and the other a CBSE school. These schools have had an excellent impact by providing them a platform for children to grow with ample exposure to extra-curricular activities.
Regular creative sessions, counselling, games, outings and academic study times are organized by qualified staff on campus. Children at Adonai are also provided exposure to places like Zoo, a biscuit factory, Museums, Metro stations, various other places and culminates each year with an annual tour
Adonai is a registered Children’s Home under the JJ (Care & Protection of children) Act of 2015. All children admitted in this home are screened by the Child Welfare Committee after following due approval process.
